We live in a world that constantly whispers, “Just a little more.” A little more money. A little more success. A little more recognition. A little more comfort… The problem is that “more” is a moving target. As soon as you reach it, it quietly shifts further away.
There is a kind of happiness that depends entirely on circumstances. One that rises when life goes well and disappears when life falls apart. Most of us experience that kind of happiness.
Anyone can be impressive for a few minutes … an hour … a day…
The real test is whether you’re still the same person a year later!
One of the greatest gifts God gives us isn’t just a purpose – it’s actually people to share the journey with. WHY? Because God doesn’t manifest Himself ‘to’ His people – He manifests Himself ‘in’ His people!
Most of us think financial freedom comes from earning more. Jesus taught something deeper. Real freedom comes when money no longer owns your heart.
The closer you walk with Jesus, the harder it becomes to ignore people who are hurting. Before Christ changes us, it’s easy to think, “Someone else will deal with that.” But the Holy Spirit gently reshapes our hearts until we begin to notice what God notices. We start seeing the lonely, the overlooked, the bullied, the forgotten and the vulnerable—not as problems to avoid, but as people to love.
One of the greatest thieves of joy is comparison. We compare our appearance, our income, our talents, our ministry, our achievements, even our families. BUT – there will always be someone who seems more successful, more gifted or more admired. If our value depends on keeping up with others, we will never find lasting peace.
We’ve all been there: school, work, even church. Leadership that bosses people around might win short‑term compliance, but true humble leadership wins hearts.
The older you get, the more you realise that life is full of crossroads – courses, friends, jobs, relationships. Decisions shape rhythms and identity. When you make choices with Jesus and the Holy Spirit at the centre, you move from anxious guessing to faithful listening. Scripture isn’t a rulebook to control you; it’s God’s voice that clarifies values, exposes blind spots, and points you to what really matters. Prayer tunes your heart so you can hear that voice. Better decisions protect your soul, free you to serve others, and help your gifts grow.
