(Isaiah 41:10) “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.”
Part 6: WHAT’S IN IT FOR US? - 32. Freedom from fear (confidence grows because your future rests securely in God's hands.
As things go, fear is one of humanity's oldest companions.
In the natural, we are taught to fear illness, loss, rejection, failure, loneliness, uncertainty, and ultimately, death itself. Some fears shout loudly. Others quietly shape our decisions every day without us even noticing.
Jesus never promised His followers a life free from trouble. In fact, He warned us that hardship would come - yet alongside that warning came one of Scripture's most repeated commands:
"Do not be afraid."
How can God ask ordinary people not to fear?
Because our confidence doesn't rest in our ability to control tomorrow. It rests in the One who already holds tomorrow in His hands.
When you know that your Heavenly Father is both completely good and completely sovereign, fear begins to lose its grip.
You still feel concern - but not despair.
You still plan wisely - but not anxiously.
You still grieve losses - but not as someone who has no hope.
The Christian's courage is not the absence of fear—it is the quiet confidence that God remains faithful even when life makes no sense.
That confidence grows over time. Each answered prayer, every past deliverance, every moment of God's sustaining grace becomes another reminder that He has never abandoned His children.
Fear constantly asks, "What if?"
Faith quietly answers, "Even if..."
Even if the path is difficult...
Even if I cannot see the outcome...
Even if everything changes...
God remains the same.
When your future rests securely in His hands, you are finally free to live fully in the present. The world chases certainty but never finds it. The believer finds peace, not because every question has been answered, but because the One who holds every answer walks beside them.

Let us pray, "Heavenly Father, thank You that I can say with the psalmist: For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. (Psalm 100:5)." Amen!
