(John 8:12) Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
Sunday at Church, the Pastor spoke on the above Scripture, and it got me thinking ...
What happens to us when we walk in darkness? There are far too many Scriptures for me to gather in such a short space as this, so here's just a few to encourage you - in case you're feeling lost and in the dark as to why [pun intended]...!
(1 John 1:6) If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
(1 John 1:7) "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin."
(John 1:5) “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it."
This is the best news! We need not fear the darkness because darkness will never eclipse light, nor will the dark devil ever overcome the Light of the world—Jesus Christ!
GOD, who created all our hearts, says, “Come to Me, my dear Child, and I will show you how to break free and live! Do your part and trust in Me enough to honour Me.” 🥰
