(2 Corinthians 1:3) “All praise to the God and Father of our Master, Jesus the Messiah! Father of all mercy! God of all healing counsel! He comes alongside us when we go through hard times, and before you know it, he brings us alongside someone else who is going through hard times so that we can be there for that person just as God was there for us. We have plenty of hard times that come from following the Messiah, but no more so than the good times of his healing comfort—we get a full measure of that, too.”

Just as people with vitamin deficiencies need to receive treatment through either correct medication or food, when our 'spiritual' levels are low, GOD seems to put us alongside someone who has more than enough of what we need.

The trouble is that this particular individual might not be quite what we’d expect—or someone we don't even like!

So, we’ve asked for help, but we're faced with dismissing the assistance we've been offered by rejecting the messenger!

Food for thought...? Lord, open our eyes so we do not judge the method You use to answer our prayers.

GOD, who created all our hearts, says, “Come to Me, my dear Child, and I will show you how to break free and live! Do your part and trust in Me enough to honour Me.” 

Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve those who are sick amongst us—Baby Owen, Baby Pasley, Louise, Betty, Maria, Lorenzo, Matteo, Romeo, Sebastian, Nathaniel, Marissa, Ron, Amy, Franca, Daniela, Kristina, Paul, Roger, Alastair, Ian, Alex, Alexander, Lynette, James, Keiron, Samantha, Jay, Liliana, Maria, Susanna, and those you bring to our minds right now… Please grant your healing power to those who minister to all the sick among us so they may be strengthened in their weakness and have confidence in your loving care. We pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
