(1 Peter 1:22) Having purified your souls by your obedience to the truth for a sincere brotherly love, love one another earnestly from a pure heart, since you have been born again, not of perishable seed but of imperishable, through the living and abiding word of God; for “All flesh is like grass and all its glory like the flower of grass. The grass withers, and the flower falls, but the word of the Lord remains forever.” And this word is the good news that was preached to you.
When I say that "I am a Christian," I'm not shouting, "I am clean living." I'm whispering, "I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven."
When I say that "I am a Christian," I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.
When I say that "I am a Christian," I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.
When I say that "I am a Christian," I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need GOD to clean my mess.
When I say that "I am a Christian," I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but GOD believes I am worth it.
When I say that "I am a Christian," I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His Name.
When I say that "I am a Christian," I'm not holier than thou. I'm just a simple sinner who received GOD's good grace somehow!

Heavenly Father, we Praise You for all You have done and continue to do in us. We thank You and hold You in the highest regard, giving You the transcendent praise for which You and You alone are worthy. Amen!
GOD, who created all our hearts, says, “Come to Me, my dear Child, and I will show you how to break free and live! Do your part and trust in Me enough to honour Me, and we will write the next chapter of your life together.”
Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve those who are sick amongst us—Baby Pasley, Louise, Betty, Maria, Lorenzo, Matteo, Romeo, Sebastian, Nathaniel, Marissa, Ron, Amy, Franca, Daniela, Kristina, Paul, Roger, Alastair, Ian, Alex, Alexander, Lynette, James, Keiron, Samantha, Jay, Liliana, Maria, Susanna, and those you bring to our minds right now… Please grant your healing power to those who minister to all the sick among us so they may be strengthened in their weakness and have confidence in your loving care. We pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
