“But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory…”
SERIES 8: BECOMING LIKE JESUS - “What does it mean for Christ to be formed in me?”
Following Jesus is not simply about believing in Him. It is about becoming like Him.
And that is the promise: Christ is being formed in us. Day by day, step by step, He is changing us, shaping us and drawing us closer to Himself. What He begins, He will complete.
This new series is about that transformation — becoming more like Jesus in the way we think, speak, love, forgive, serve, suffer and live.
Not becoming perfect by our own strength.
Not trying harder to impress God.
But allowing the Holy Spirit to make us increasingly like the One we follow.
And there is a day coming when the journey will be complete.
We will see Him. We will be with Him. And we will be like Him.

THIS is why we love and follow the Lord Jesus.
Not for our glory. Not for recognition. Not for what we can become in the eyes of others.
But for His glory.
He is the beginning.
He is the journey.
He is the destination.
And one day, we will be like Him and see Him face to face. (1 John 3:2)
