This week will be about difficult questions that Christians back away from the most…
Through His actions and teachings, Jesus exemplified how to confront hatred with love, forgiveness, and a commitment to peace. Through His example, He inspires us to pursue peace not only in our hearts but also in the world, reminding us that true Peace comes only from Him – and is meant to be shared.
Yes, Jesus confronted the religious leaders of His time—and he did so regularly! In fact, He courageously exposed their hypocrisy and flawed reasoning, illuminated their misguided beliefs and practices, and urged them to reconsider their interpretations of the law.
But He didn’t do it to destroy them! (Acts 6:7): “So the word of God spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly, and a large number of priests became obedient to the faith.”
(As Jesus told us), “The enemy comes to try to steal, kill, and destroy.” But Jesus comes to establish His Kingdom, and He calls us to be ambassadors and enforcers of that peace.”
“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbour and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.”
Angels are, after all, GOD’s secret agents; they work quietly without seeking attention, focused solely on fulfilling His loving will for us.
“For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.”
