One of my favourite songs is "Blessings" by Laura Story; it epitomises how I’m feeling right now (and I know some of you feel the same). Let me share it with you:
We pray for blessings
We pray for peace
Comfort for family, protection while we sleep
We pray for healing, for prosperity
We pray for Your mighty hand to ease our suffering
And all the while, You hear each spoken need
Yet love is way too much to give us lesser things
But what if your blessings come through raindrops?
What if Your healing comes through tears?
What if a thousand sleepless nights
Are what it takes to know You're near?
And what if trials of this life are Your mercies in disguise...?

Let's pray, "Heavenly Father, I don't want to be like the 9 lepers who took your Merciful Healing, but didn't acknowledge it. Soften my heart to always acknowledge You in all I think or do or say." Amen!
