(Jeremiah 1:12) “I am watching over my word to perform it.”
This series explores how God speaks to us. Part 23: BIBLE PROPHECY and END-TIMES THEOLOGY
Try to imagine predicting what your town will look like 700 years from now — sounds impossible, right? Yet the Bible contains thousands of predictions, and many have actually come to pass. Some are verified by archaeology, history, and eyewitness accounts we can check today.
Of about 1,800 prophecies in Scripture, more than half have been fulfilled with striking accuracy, and several include details that are hard to explain as coincidence: Jesus as the Messiah, the virgin birth, Bethlehem as the birthplace, the suffering servant, betrayal for thirty pieces of silver, piercing of hands and feet, resurrection on the third day, the destruction of the Second Temple, and more.
Prophecy isn’t just fortune‑telling. It’s God communicating who He is, what He will do, and how we should live in light of that reality. Over the next few days we'll explore together why God chooses to speak prophetically to us.

Let’s pray, “Heavenly Father, thank you that your promises are not empty—You see, You remember, and You act. Help me trust Your timing when things feel uncertain. Give me patience to wait, courage to obey, and faith to believe that what You have spoken will come to pass. Guard my heart from doubt; remind me that You are faithful even when I am not. Use Your Word to shape my choices today so that I will honour You and point others to Your truth." Amen!
