(Hebrews 4:14) “Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. So let’s walk right up to him and get what he is so ready to give. Take the mercy, accept the help.”

I was contacted this morning by a young man who needed help as he felt spiritually demotivated.

The crux of the message was that he knew what to do - but still couldn't do it...! Nonetheless, his bottom line was beautifully encouraging. "... I'm not sad, though, because I always look at what GOD can do for me and my weaknesses."

My treatment is simple. Even though you may not 'feel' like doing it, go and read some Scripture. It's the perfect remedy of the Word and the Spirit for every ailment... [Jesus speaking] "Sheer muscle and willpower don’t make anything happen. Every word I’ve spoken to you is a Spirit-word, and so it is life-making." (John 6:63)

GOD, who created all our hearts, says, “Come to Me, my dear Child, and I will show you how to break free and live! Do your part and trust in Me enough to honour Me.” 

Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and relieve those who are sick amongst us—Baby Owen, Baby Pasley, a 3-year old boy in hospital with serious problems, Paul, Arianna, Miriam, Barbara, Angela, Tina, Cathy, Louise, Betty, Maria, Lorenzo, Matteo, Romeo, Sebastian, Nathaniel, Marissa, Ron, Amy, Franca, Daniela, Kristina, Richard, Roger, Ben, Jessica, Wayne, Alastair, Ian, Alex, Alexander, Lynette, James, Keiron, Samantha, Jay, Liliana, Maria, Susanna, and those you bring to our minds right now… Please grant your healing power to those who minister to all the sick among us so they may be strengthened in their weakness and have confidence in your loving care. We pray this through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
