I remember watching an amazingly touching video of a little two or three-year-old girl sobbing uncontrollably in a car with her daddy.
After a short while he lets her out of her seat and while she’s standing on the seat next to him sobbing, he gently keeps asking her what was wrong.
She obviously found it hard to reply and carefully wiping away her tears he keeps tenderly probing. Finally, he says, “Do you want a hug?” And she melts into his arms.
