Many years ago now, I was studying at Bible College with a particular young man who told us that he used to be the head of a witch's coven - and how he met Jesus.
Apparently, he and his coven had prepared themselves in a darkened room for a particularly nasty attack against Christians and people in general.
I don't want to recount all their dark arts here but will say that just as they were reaching their crescendo, the locked door suddenly burst open and Jesus walked right in flooding the room with Awesome Light.
My friend said he was shaking so bad that he collapsed onto the floor. Jesus went straight up to him and said: “You can either stay here and die in all this mess or come and follow Me.”
It doesn't matter WHAT we're fighting against - our Lord Jesus is ABOVE EVERY power and principality.

Tracey - we visited the eye surgeon yesterday and Tracey told him that she was struggling - "it's as if I'm seeing everything through a bubble. Everything is all distored." The doctor casually replied, "Oh, this is quite normal, we actually we fit a gas bubble into your eye in order to protect it while it heals." (Hmmm... perhaps she could have been protected from all the subsequent stress by being advised of this at the time?) Now we watch the progress and go back again in 6 weeks. Hallelujah! ...
