Category: Come back to GOD

Day 357

I’ve come to realise that the true essence of Communion has been overshadowed by routine and diluted over many generations. Communion is not symbolic, or even ritualistic. It is not a quiet religious moment added into a service. Communion is an ‘action’ enforcing what Christ accomplished for us. 1 Corinthians 11:29 is often quoted in a service, “For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself. That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some have died…” This is a failure to discern revelation – the release point of Divine Strength.

Day 355

This passage lovingly illuminates the joy of nurturing a profound trust in GOD, encouraging us to look beyond all negativity and to stay rooted in faith, liberated from anxiety’s weight. This beautiful path can only unfold as we walk with the Holy Spirit, embracing a tender and vibrant spiritual connection.

Day 354

“I have tried to live righteously, but continually fail … what am I supposed to do?” First, embrace Grace and Forgiveness, then seek GOD’s guidance because spiritual growth is a lifelong journey. Connect with a supportive community (the Church), and ask the Holy Spirit to help you pursue small, tangible steps to align your life with Jesus’ teachings.

Day 352

While the Good Samaritan story isn’t explicitly about witnessing for Jesus, the tale vividly captures His core teachings of empathy, kindness, and mercy. By embodying these ideals, believers passionately illuminate the heart of Jesus’ message, revealing its profound impact on a dark and dying world.

Day 351

GOD’s not asking us to shave our heads, paint ourselves purple and go sell flowers outside a train station! We just need to shift our perspective from “what about me” and realise the incredible impact our day-to-day testimony of walking with Jesus can have on others.

Day 350

Sharing our faith can be daunting, but today was a powerful reminder of its significance. This morning, I walked into a café to grab a quick coffee and encountered a couple bravely facing serious health challenges.

Day 349

I place before you all these compelling benefits of fasting, so that we will not let ourselves lazily choose paths that pull us away from both our potential and GOD’s ultimate purpose—His Presence and Guidance. Whether it’s food, habits, or other influences, our goal is to function as we were created to be: to centre our hearts and minds on GOD.

Day 348

Jesus fasted for 40 days and nights in the wilderness, as described in the Gospels, especially in Matthew 4:1-11. This period of fasting served as preparation for His public ministry. It was a way to strengthen His spirit, resist Satan’s temptations, and demonstrate reliance on God. His fast exemplified His commitment and obedience to God’s will.
