Fill our days with love, peace, and joy and help us to open our tight fists, so that we can share these blessings with those around us.
‘we’ hold the power to choose our spiritual path, making us fully responsible for those choices. We are not mere puppets; we are vibrant, active players in our destiny. When temptation strikes, it is ‘our’ decisions that shape the outcome!
To truly grasp the concept of loving our enemies, we must redefine what Jesus’s love really means. It’s not about forcing ourselves to like someone or ignoring our own boundaries. Instead, it’s about choosing to care for their well-being by seeing them through Jesus’s eyes – not through their words or actions!
Whatever is happening to us, Jesus calls us not to fight back with their weapons, but to embrace His higher love and use it to love those who are our enemies and to pray for those who persecute us…
And remember … Communion is not taken alone – Heaven participates. It is a Blood-sealed Covenant, and Heaven moves when the Covenant is Honoured!

“May the Lord bless you and keep you;
May the Lord make His face shine upon you
and be gracious to you;
May the Lord lift up His countenance upon you
and give you peace.”
Jesus said (John 6:53) “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.” He was speaking of receiving Him completely. His Life. His Sacrifice. His Nature. His Covenant. Communion is the believer stepping into agreement with what Christ’s Body and Blood have already accomplished.
I’ve come to realise that the true essence of Communion has been overshadowed by routine and diluted over many generations. Communion is not symbolic, or even ritualistic. It is not a quiet religious moment added into a service. Communion is an ‘action’ enforcing what Christ accomplished for us. 1 Corinthians 11:29 is often quoted in a service, “For anyone who eats and drinks without discerning the body eats and drinks judgment on himself. That is why many of you are weak and ill, and some have died…” This is a failure to discern revelation – the release point of Divine Strength.
Our ‘common-union’, therefore, captures both our fervent allegiance to our shared principles and the close-knit bond we maintain within our Faith.
