TESTIMONY: After I became a "Born Again" believer, I kept asking the Lord: "Why, Lord, didn't you let me know about you before?
I had come from a religion considered the only one in the world; I was brought up in the best teachings of it, involved in all Church activities, and truly believed in all I was taught.
But then I met this woman, and she started talking to me about Jesus.
At first, I felt offended, but she was so kind and so different from the people I'd known through my religion that I became so taken with her I couldn't deny she had more to offer than just a religion. Then one day, she said to me, "You know a lot about Jesus, but you don't know him in a personal relationship."
This statement shocked me to the core. How could I know Christ personally?
Well, I finally came to know Christ in a very personal way, and so I asked Him, "Jesus, why didn't you reveal yourself to me before?"
A few months later, while I was looking for a recipe, I came across a pamphlet from a Billy Graham Crusade I had refused to attend. The Lord said to me, "You see, you refused to go because of your religious bondage."
His grace had been offered to me, and I, too, had refused it at the time. (C)
The Holy Spirit is calling — even if you consider yourself 'Born again', check yourself. Like it says in the third paragraph, do you have a personal relationship with Jesus? Don’t be like the stubborn man in my vision, playing your own game and refusing God's Grace.

Let’s pray, “Heavenly Father, forgive my stubbornness, especially when I refuse Your Grace. Soften my heart, remove my pride and fear, and help me to receive Your Mercy anew. Give me humility to accept Your love, faith to trust Your ways, and obedience to follow. Thank You for pursuing me despite myself and keep me open to Your restoring Grace." Amen!
