(Luke 6:27) "But to those of you who will listen, I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you."
In this series, we're delving deeper into the teachings that Jesus left us to follow. From the many responses, the fourteenth commandment: LOVE YOUR ENEMIES has been very difficult - but extremely worth it!
This then is my prayer for all of us as we enter 2026.
Heavenly Father, we open our hearts to embrace all You have planned for us. Let Your desires for our lives come to fruition. Align our hearts with Yours and give us the strength to pursue Your path, not our own.
Fill our days with love, peace, and joy and help us to open our tight fists, so that we can share these blessings with those around us.
Guide us in our decisions and let Your purpose illuminate our journey. We trust in Your timing and provision, knowing You have incredible plans ahead.
Thank You, Father, for Your constant love and support. We love You, Lord.

Let's pray, "Heavenly Father, I choose to forgive, just as you have forgiven me many times over. I ask You to guide me in letting go of every wrong attitude I've had toward those who have hurt me. I open my fists and release my need for revenge, help me to use the power Jesus gives to release any desire for retribution. I want to align my will with yours, Lord, and let Jesus direct my path to forgiveness, freeing me from the cycle of bitterness, anger, and pain. I want the Holy Spirit to guide me in healing from those who have left wounds on my heart. With Your help, I choose to forgive them and pray that you bless them, Lord, meet their needs, heal their hurts, and resolve their issues. Extend your grace and mercy to us all, Father. Thank you, Lord, for the mind of Christ and for making me more than a conqueror through the power Jesus gives me to overcome." Amen!
