(Acts 1:8) "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
In this series, we're delving deeper into the teachings that Jesus left us to follow. The tenth commandment leads us to our next focus: WITNESSING.
Sharing our faith can be daunting, but today was a powerful reminder of its importance. This morning, I walked into a café to grab a quick coffee and saw a couple I knew who were courageously facing serious health challenges. She had just returned from A&E, with warnings of severe high blood pressure!
As we drank our coffee and chatted, and they shared their imminent health fears, I silently reached out to our Heavenly Father, asking, "What can I say to bring them Peace, Lord?" In moments like these, I always begin by asking, "Do you have a faith? Have you experienced GOD at all?"
In a surprising twist, the guy, who previously seemed like a total atheist, revealed that his 90-year-old mother was deeply involved in the Church, and had even trained to be a Pastor!
Meanwhile, the woman seemed totally open to exploring. Anyway, they were about to leave, so I wrapped up the conversation with my classic line: "When you both get a minute, just take a second and pray, 'If you're as real as he says you are, then please do something to help us.' Then leave it to Him to work His stuff; He won't let you down!"
I won't mention their names here, but GOD knows who they are ...

Let's pray, "Heavenly Father, ignite my spirit with courage and fill me with wisdom to boldly share Your love. Make me a beacon of light in this dark world, speaking with heartfelt kindness and deep understanding. Let every word and action resonate with Your truth, so that others are drawn closer to You in powerful ways." Amen!
