(2 Corinthians 13:5) "Test yourselves to make sure you are solid in the faith. Don’t drift along, taking everything for granted. Give yourselves regular checkups. You need firsthand evidence, not mere hearsay, that Jesus Christ is in you. Test it out. If you fail the test, do something about it..."
Paul began this statement by warning those of us who ‘keep sinning, over and over in the same old ways’, that even though ‘WE’ put up with it – he wouldn’t!
He reminds us that GOD’s POWER ‘in us’ is the full force of Christ! That Jesus had to be sheer weakness and humiliation when he was killed on the cross – but oh, he’s alive now—in the mighty power of God! (2 Corinthians 13:5)
Child of the Living God, we have this same Spirit of Christ ‘in us’, and because of His Life ‘in us’ we all have the ability to choose.
So ... "I choose the life of my Christ! I fill my lungs and shout out this Truth – and like Paul, I tell myself and whatever is trying to keep me down: “I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am." (Philippians 4:13)

Let's pray, "Holy Father, I come before you today, acknowledging that I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I know that in my own strength, I am limited, but with you, all things are possible. Please grant me the strength and courage to face the challenges before me, knowing that you are with me every step of the way. I trust in your power and grace to guide me and help me persevere. Thank you for your love, faithfulness, and the promise that I can do all things through you." Amen.
