(Ecclesiastes 3:11) "He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end."

Part 5: THE MAGNIFICENCE OF GOD AND HIS DEITY - 5. God’s Eternity (God beyond time; how eternal perspectives reshape our daily living.)

In the hustle of daily life, we become so busy that we often get caught up in the fleeting moments, losing sight of the bigger picture. Yet, understanding God's eternity offers a profound shift in perspective. God's eternity means He exists beyond the confines of time, without beginning or end. This truth should reshape our approach to life, moving us from a frantic rush to a serene walk of faith.

Eternal Perspective:

When we grasp that God is eternal, our priorities naturally shift and realign. The urgent demands of today lose their grip, replaced by a focus on what truly matters. Scriptures such as Ecclesiastes 3:11 remind us that God has "set eternity in the human heart," suggesting a deeper purpose woven into our existence. This eternal perspective encourages us to invest in relationships, kindness, and spiritual growth—treasures that transcend time.

Living with Purpose

Living with an eternal mindset transforms how we face challenges. Life's trials, once overwhelming, become opportunities for growth and refinement. James 1:2-4 speaks to this, urging us to "consider it pure joy" when facing trials, knowing they develop perseverance. In the light of eternity, setbacks are not defeats but steps toward a greater, Divine purpose.

To anchor your life in eternity, spend time daily in Scripture to ground yourself in God's timeless promises, practice gratitude by recognising the eternal value in everyday moments, and invest in meaningful relationships that reflect God’s love and eternal perspective.

In embracing God's eternity, our lives are no longer a race against time. Instead, they become a journey aligned with Divine purpose, filled with peace and profound joy. So, when life feels chaotic, remember: look beyond the moment, anchor your heart in the eternal, and let God’s timeless presence guide you.

Let us pray, "Heavenly Father, when I was young, summer breaks from school seemed like an eternity. Now the month's flow past as fast as the hours back then. Help me to anchor my life in eternity, Lord, to value the time I can spend with You. Amen!
