TESTIMONY: There was a funeral at the church near us yesterday, and I guessed it was an important person because the church had closed off its access lane the day before, and a man had been mowing the grass outside the church the day before.
We noticed lots of cars parked everywhere and timed it so the people were returning to their cars after the service. They were well dressed, and there were a lot of them; obviously, this had been an important person.
It struck me, though, were they all 'really' friends?
Despite the person's wealth and influence, they were the same in reality as the poorest person everywhere — they couldn't take any of it with them.
We all have to face our Lord eventually; it's better to do it now and get to know Him and receive His mercy, love and blessings than wait for what's been promised at judgment...!
What a great Heavenly Father we have (Dx)
The Holy Spirit is calling. Even if you consider yourself 'born again,' take a moment to examine your heart. As the penultimate paragraph says, it's better to know Him now and receive His mercy, love, and blessings than to wait until judgment day. Don’t harden your heart like the stubborn man in my recent vision who played his own game and refused God's grace.

Let’s pray, “Heavenly Father, I long to be rich in You and poor in the world's ways. Fill me with Your Spirit, Your love, and Your wisdom. Let my treasure be in heaven: faith, hope, and love; let my heart be detached from pride, greed, and earthly pleasures that pull me away from You. Teach me contentment, generosity, and humility. Use my hands to serve, my resources to bless, and my life to point others to You. Keep me dependent on Your Grace daily, and let all I have and am honour Your name." Amen!
