Think about it. We live amid constant temptation. Misusing money is like letting go of control of fire: if not properly managed, it will take over and burn everything.
Many Christians forget that it is the love of money that is the root of all evil (1 Timothy 6:10). So some treat money with abject fear—as if it were a deadly disease—and refuse even to learn how to handle it properly.
Money itself is like food, water, sunlight, exercise, or even medicine: healing when used rightly, toxic in excess!
Remember what the Lord said to Cain: “Sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must rule over it.” (Genesis 4:7)
How do we rule over sin? We cannot—only One ever has—Jesus! Give Him control and let Him speak, guide, and direct you.

Let’s pray, “Heavenly Father, grant me the strength to recognise temptation for what it is, and the wisdom to let the Holy Spirit in me to respond to its demands. When I feel overwhelmed, remind me that I cannot master sin in my own power but that Christ lives in me to lead, strengthen, and forgive. Help me steward my heart, my choices, and the resources You entrust to me, that neither fear nor love of anything would displace my devotion to You." Amen!
