(Matthew 28:19) [Jesus speaking] "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit."

In this series, we're delving deeper into the teachings that Jesus left us to follow. The fifth commandment leads us to our next focus: BAPTISM ...

Like all of Jesus' teachings on behavioural change, the waters of baptism reach both the shallow shores of the heart as well as the profound depths of the spirit. Here we visit a few more:

Letting Go of the Past
The transformative power of Baptism inspires us to embrace positive change, leaving behind past habits like addiction or the pursuit of worldly things, in favour of letting the Holy Spirit help us with a fulfilling life that enhances our character and honours GOD.

Gaining Clarity and Purpose
Baptism is frequently described as bringing a renewed sense of clarity and purpose. The Holy Spirit helping us with inspiring visions for living life to its fullest.

Shifting Priorities
Many have testified to the Holy Spirit helping them to experience a positive shift in perspective, prioritising their faith and becoming a source of encouragement to others.

NB - I'm going to gather and post all the testimonies in a few days.

Let us pray, Heavenly Father, I thank You that I have been given a new identity in Christ and that You have made me a new creation. I ask for the transformation of Baptism into Jesus, so that I may become more like Him. Help me to seek to let go of past mistakes and embrace His forgiveness. Help me to trust in Your truth and wisdom, and Your perfecting work for a future filled with Your freedom and grace." Amen!
