(Romans 8:1) "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus."
This next series is about how GOD wants to deal with the "sin that so easily besets us" (Hebrews 12:1) and how He will help us come out from under the enslavement of it through His Son, Jesus.
Our sister Rita just sent this response... (Which one of you has the next one?)
"We are freed from bondage when we start believing that we already are. (It can be instant or a process.) Jesus did that on the cross and through resurrection. He died as us, not for us. We are resurrected to new life in His resurrection. We are totally set free, we are totally made righteous, we are totally healed, we are totally unconditionally loved. His grace is infinite, His mercy is triumphant. These are truths we need to start believing and be willing to have our minds transformed by allowing Him to do the work in us (we can't do it ourselves). It is a journey towards becoming what we already are—Sons of God, priests and Kings, created to co-rule with the Father. Realising we are not of this world but of the Kingdom of God. Created with purpose and plans, not rigid plans, but working in cooperation with Father. Learning to see what He is doing. It's a journey. It's discovering the abundant life Jesus has promised. It's discovering our true identity. It's believing it's for now, not after death. Because if we believe that death is the door rather than Jesus, then we miss completely what the Gospel is about. It's all about experiencing True Love Himself so that we live loved, love living, live loving. We need to understand that it's not by self-effort, but total trust and reliance on who God is and who He says we are. Deuteronomy 28 is not applicable anymore. We live totally redeemed without guilt and without shame. Our behaviour will change because we are being transformed. These things the Holy Spirit has revealed to us, bit by bit. Instead of looking into ourselves and seeing all that is not right, we start looking to the truth about ourselves, our minds get transformed, and our whole lives are being changed. It's not an easy journey in many ways because of past conditioning by many different issues. But transformation comes about through desire, intent, and trust. The Holy Spirit leads us if we are willing. No two people have the same journey. He said He will provide everything we need. And He will. These are things we have recently discovered/had a revelation of, and it's still a struggle at times to deal with the shock of realisation that a lot I believed was wrong or partial truth. But God is gentle, kind and patient, and He knows what to do with us!!! Love Rita

Let us pray, "Heavenly Father, thank You for calling me to be a servant of Jesus Christ, separated for the Gospel. Thank You for revealing the mystery of the Church and the glorious light of the Gospel to all who believe. As I live by faith, please strengthen me to live as Your servant and share the good news of salvation with courage." Amen!
