I'm pausing the process here because Sally Ann has an ongoing conclusion to her very powerful testimony, and it's much too good to leave out ...
"... basically, in 2013 I heard from GOD, "Go back into Nursing, My vision for you is there." By this time, I had been out of Nursing for about 17 years. So I said, "Lord, but how? They will never give me the keys back for the drugs trolley!" He replied, "You let ME worry about that, you just do as you're told!" Anyway, I thought this was just my imagination, and since I couldn't see how it would happen, I ignored His request for almost a year. Then I started getting messages from people I knew in the Church asking, "Is the Lord asking you to do something that you haven't done ...?" So I obeyed and submitted my application to the University of Brighton to attend their Nursing course. Anyway, before I could commence my course, I had to go to Occupational Health, and (long story short) I told them the whole truth about my previous problems - that I used to be an IV drug addict, etc., etc., but now I'm a born-again Christian and I don't live that way anymore. The interviewer accepted everything and said she'd write to my doctor to confirm everything. Then, before I was enrolled on the course, I was called in to see a certain Professor (who was the Director of the Nursing School at the time). I sat and told her everything! I explained how I was in an abusive domestic violent relationship where there was coercion and addiction ... she listened quietly and finally said, "You know what? Something is telling me to take a chance on you. I'm going to let you enrol on the course and we'll see how you go!" I passed all the exams, and then I had to go before the Nursing and Midwifery Council (responsible for professional regulations) and confess it all to them! They contacted the Police to make sure no one had any objections to my returning to the register...! The Council came back and said, "We acknowledge that you have confessed everything, recognise that there are no current issues and cannot find any reason to stop your application!" So, because I had listened to the Lord, taken the path of truth, and confessed everything, and everything was in the open, I was given my license back to practice!
Praise You, Lord, I will never understand Your Mercy!"

Let us pray, "Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your awesome mercy, which is new every morning and is a gift I do not deserve. Thank You for Your grace, kindness, and constant presence that guides, strengthens, and comforts me through every part of my life. I am grateful for the hope and salvation Your mercy provides, and I pray to live a life worthy of Your boundless love." Amen!
