(John 14:6) “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”
Our sister Carmelina also responded with this Wisdom to Sunday's question, "Why does GOD allow suffering?"
"...I believe that most of our suffering is due to the hardness of our hearts or the fear of man. Thinking of Pilate, his wife had warned him, but he was surrounded by men who stubbornly opposed him; he would have lost his authority and his job. Man's will is always involved in all that happens around us..."
**QUESTION 3** "What about people who have never heard of Jesus?"
This is truly a complex problem. Nonetheless, I'll keep it as simple as I can. Basically, this is all about GOD’s justice and mercy. Some Scriptures (Romans 1:19 / 2:19, 1 Tim 2:3, Psalm 19:1, Acts 17:26) suggest that GOD, in His great wisdom and love, may give people chances to respond to His Truth through what they see in nature and the moral understanding in their hearts. Scriptures tell us that everyone has some awareness of GOD, which means that those who haven't ever heard the gospel could still be accountable for how they respond to the truth that they know!
Ultimately, this issue invites believers to engage in thoughtful dialogue about GOD's nature and His desire for all people to come to know Him. It encourages faith in GOD’s righteousness and the belief that He will judge with fairness and compassion, taking into account each person's circumstances and the light they have received.
Whatever your belief, I would emphasise the importance of placing trust in GOD’s inherently good character, because while the Bible (and our hearts) clearly affirm that Jesus is essential for salvation, it also underscores that GOD’s revelation extends beyond mere assumed knowledge of Christ. See Matthew 7:21: "Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven." Please feel free to share whatever wisdom you have received.

Let us pray, "Heavenly Father, I know that calling you 'Lord' is not enough. Please give me the strength and wisdom to not just say the words, but to seek to do the will of my Father in Heaven. Holy Spirit, please change my heart and renew a right spirit within me. Help me to make Jesus the priority in my life, to obey Your Word, and to love Him more. Give me the courage to live out my faith boldly and to fight the good fight, letting my actions reflect Your love and bringing Your light to the world. May my life be a testament to doing Your will, so that on that final day, I can hear You say, 'Well done, my child.'" Amen!
