(Psalm 91:11) "For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways."

This past week has all been about angels ministering to us in our time of need... They have brought about divine help and deliverance, divine guidance and healing, and, of course, led us towards salvation.

Psalm 103:20-21 refers to angels as "mighty ones who fulfil His commands and heed His word." Similarly, Hebrews 1:14 describes them as "ministering spirits sent to serve those destined for salvation," reinforcing their role in obedience in executing GOD's directives.

(BUT) As Scripture tells us, angels are not to be worshipped for who they are. In Revelation 22:8-9, the Apostle John encounters an angel and is told not to worship him, as he (like John) is a fellow servant of GOD. Similarly, in Colossians 2:18, the Apostle Paul warns against worshipping angels, emphasising that worship should be directed solely toward GOD.

We may not always recognise the presence of angels in our lives because they are diligently performing divine tasks. Angels are, in essence, GOD's secret agents, operating quietly without seeking the spotlight, solely dedicated to carrying out His loving will for us.

Let us pray, "Heavenly Father, thank you for sending forth Your angels to intervene in every difficult situation confronting me. Where my human strength has failed, where connections cannot reach, let Your ministering spirits take over. Let them war for me, speak for me and deliver me, so that I can fulfil your divine purpose for my life." Amen!
