(Psalm 139:14) "I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well."
Rita's closing statement yesterday was (to me) a great kidney punch reminder ...! Please let me explain.
Essentially, she reminded us that the deeper meaning of sin relates to the separation or disconnection from our true identity. Sin stems from not understanding who we are, which in turn obscures our awareness of what we are truly capable of in Christ Jesus.
Essentially, sin is a state characterised through our being unconscious of the 'fact' that we are always and totally united with GOD, (irrespective of what we feel)! That we are imbued with GOD, and regardless of whether we accept, understand, or even appreciate it, we have been made 'one' with the Faithful Lord of all.
Thus, the essence of sin can be seen as 'lost identity.' Because when we deviate from our true selves and the Divine purpose for which we were created, we lose touch with our core identity. This disconnection leads to actions and choices that fail to reflect our inherent worth and the potential we were divinely designed to fulfil, bringing GOD Glory.

Let us pray, "Heavenly Father, I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are Your works, and my soul knows it very well. Thank You for knitting me together in my mother's womb and for forming me with such intricate detail and purpose. In You, I find my true value and worth, not in my own accomplishments, but because I am Your creation. May I always remember that my life and all the gifts You have given me are wonderful and that You have a marvellous plan for my life". Help me to live in the truth of Your word, to recognise my worthiness, and to walk by faith, embracing the gifts You have ordained for me. For you are the Creator of all, and Your works are indeed marvellous and beyond full understanding". Amen!
