Many of us don't even consider it, and many more still that totally discount it, but Charles Finney often spoke about revival and its significance in the Christian faith. Here are a few notable quotes attributed to him on the topic of revival:
- Revival is nothing else than a new beginning of obedience to God.
- A revival is a return of the Church from her backslidings and an incursion of sinners into the kingdom of God.
- You cannot have a revival without a revolution.
