(Matthew 7:7) "Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who keeps on asking receives, and he who keeps on seeking finds, and to him who keeps on knocking, it will be opened."
If there's a problem that I constantly face, it's undoubtedly consistency...!
- So, the day begins with a warning light on the car.
- So, the WiFi isn't working anymore.
- So, there's a problem with our dogs.
- So, the Dyson vacuum cleaner has died.
(John 14:16) "And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counsellor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever—"
Do I 'act' as if the Holy Spirit is 'ever present' with me, like Jesus promised, enough for me to simply ask for His Guidance and Help? Or do I just drop my shoulders and whine?
Am I living in the 'reality' of His Presence 'with me', or is it a case of: "out of sight, out of mind?"

Let's pray, "Holy Father, I come before you, acknowledging my need for your Holy Spirit to dwell within me. I ask that you fill me with your presence, illuminating my mind and guiding my steps. I seek your wisdom to understand your will and your truth, and I ask for the courage to follow where you lead. Empower me with your gifts so that I can give them to others, especially wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and the fear of the Lord. May your Holy Spirit be my constant companion, leading me into all truth and transforming me into the person you desire me to be." Amen!
