(Hebrews 11:1) "The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It’s our handle on what we can’t see...”
So, we all know what Scripture says faith is—but what do I say?
I was talking about this with my Nephew yesterday, and it got me thinking that it's all too simple to casually recite the thoughts and insights shared by prominent Christian authors like Oswald Chambers or C.S. Lewis. But what about 'me'? What show of faith do I proclaim when it's 'me' who is being put through a challenging or exhausting experience???
After writing this Blog for nearly 20 years, most of you have had a good insight into my life experiences and how Faithful GOD has been throughout. So you'll both understand my Nephew's question: "But Uncle, don't you ever wonder why you've had to go through all this?"
As well as my reply: "If this is to be my 'thorn in the flesh,' then so be it." (2 Corinthians 12:9).
I am most certainly NOT placing myself at Paul's level. I am simply saying that despite the many difficulties Paul faced, GOD's response highlights that His grace and power are most evident when we finally acknowledge our limitations and rely on Him.

Let's pray, "Heavenly Father, thank you for your grace, which is sufficient for me. I see in my life that your power is made perfect in my weakness. So I choose to boast in my weaknesses, not in my own strength, so that your power can rest upon me. Help me to embrace my vulnerabilities, knowing that it is in those moments that your strength is most evident. May I continually find joy in relying on you and experiencing your power in my life." Amen!
