(Psalm 51:10) "Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a right and steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and sustain me with a willing spirit."
We attended Church in Northern Italy today, where I was later told that 30 separate nations were meeting together to worship the Living GOD.
After Church, we were introduced to a young woman so passionate about GOD that I felt drawn to bask in her light and just listen to her. In fact, later, as I thought about what happened, I was reminded of Psalm 24, which describes those who can stand in GOD's holy place as those with "clean hands and a pure heart."
In my attempt to sift out those with great testimonies, have I been judging (demeaning) GOD's children who don't fit 'my' requirements... what do I know about what He's currently doing in their lives?
Once again, I turn to the old Keith Green song "Create in me a clean heart," which is based on Psalm 51 (above) ...
Create in me a clean heart, oh God
And renew a right spirit within me
Create in me a clean heart, oh God
And renew a right spirit within me
Cast me not away from Thy presence, oh Lord
And take not Thy holy spirit from me
Restore unto me the joy of Thy salvation
And renew a right spirit within me

Let's pray, "Holy Lord, who but You can take my bruised and bloodied heart and change me from the inside out to become more and more like Jesus? You have called all Your children to be set apart unto You, and to be refined in the refining fires of Your purifying love and unimaginable grace, so that we may come forth as pure gold in Your sight. Lord, it is my chief desire to be set apart unto You, and ready to do Your will." Amen!
