(Romans 8:38) "For I am convinced [and continue to be convinced—beyond any doubt] that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present and threatening, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the [unlimited] love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
I once had a vision in which I saw myself approaching a large, beautiful summer house with its French-style windows wide open, the wind gently moving the lace curtains within.
I could see Father GOD in there, and he was sitting very big and still, just like the Lincoln Memorial statue.
There was a garden just in front of the summer house, and spotting a big, beautiful flower, I made my way over to it and plucked it up as a gift for GOD. I then walked up to him, and he helped me climb onto his knees and wrapped me in his vast, loving arms. I remember that He gave me a hug to die for.
After a while, I then (somehow) saw the same vision, but this time from ‘His’ perspective...
His heartbeat increased as he saw me approaching, and a huge smile appeared on His face. He leant forward in anticipation of my joining him, and His Joy exploded as He saw my focus on the flower that He’d just been admiring in His beautiful garden.
He saw me stumble through all His carefully made flower beds, crushing lesser flowers in my wake with child-like determination.
His heart ached for me to join Him, and even when He witnessed me snap his prize flower and drag it up to him, soiling his garments with my muddy feet, ‘nothing’ changed in His love for me – He still gave me a hug to die for!
I’m sharing this because maybe you, like me, need the encouragement of His absolute love for you!
