LITTLE CHRISTS
The questions behind the story.
LITTLE CHRISTS is more than a series of historical novels. It is a living story built around people, faith and a world being changed. These are some of the questions readers naturally ask about the series.

What is LITTLE CHRISTS about?
LITTLE CHRISTS is a continuing historical fiction series, following people across the many generations of Christianity. The story begins in the world shaped by Jesus and continues into the turbulent decades that followed, as a small movement grows and encounters the power, politics and violence of the Roman world.
At its centre is Karp, whose life gives the series a human perspective. Through him and the people around him, the books explore loyalty, friendship, loss, courage, doubt and faith — while the wider historical events continue to shape their lives.
How many books are planned?
The Author’s intention is to continue to research and write more. Together they will begin to form one continuing story rather than a few unrelated novels. Each book moves the characters and the wider story into a new stage of the early Christian world.
Are the books historically accurate?
LITTLE CHRISTS is historical fiction, not a history textbook. The series is grounded in the historical, biblical and cultural material of its period, but the novels also contain fictional characters, imagined conversations and scenes created to tell the story.
Where history gives us a framework, the novels bring that world to life through the experiences of the characters. The aim is to make the period believable and recognisable without pretending that every moment in the narrative is documented history.
Where can I buy the books?
The LITTLE CHRISTS books will be available to buy through Amazon, with direct links to each edition provided here as the books are published.
Print and digital editions will be available through Amazon, including Amazon UK, US, Canada and Australia, with availability extending to other international Amazon marketplaces where English-language editions are offered. As each book is published, the relevant purchase link will appear here.
Is this a Christian novel or historical fiction?
It is both. LITTLE CHRISTS is historical fiction, because the story is built within a real historical period and engages with the people, places and events of the ancient world. It is also Christian fiction, because the growth of faith and the followers of Jesus are central to the story.
The intention is not to separate the two. The historical world is where the characters live; their faith is part of what makes their choices matter.
Who is Karp?
Karp is the central character through much of LITTLE CHRISTS and the person through whom readers experience the changing world around him. His story begins with a young man and develops across years of upheaval, friendship, danger and discovery.
He is not presented as a perfect believer or a heroic figure who has everything worked out. His importance lies in the journey — in how experience changes him, what he learns, what he gets wrong and what he ultimately carries forward.
Will there be more books?
The four current books form the basis of the LITTLE CHRISTS series. The Author is already in the process of writing the series beyond THE MANTLE.
