(Luke 6:46) “Why do you call me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do what I tell you?”
As this series wraps up, let’s empty our hands and hearts as we stand again at the timeless crossroads. The paths are clearly marked:
(Romans 8:1) “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
(James 5:16) “Therefore, confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man has great power to prevail.”
(1 Corinthians 10:13) “No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide an escape, so that you can stand up under it.”
(1 John 3:21) “Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God”
“Heavenly Father, I am asking for Your help to get out of the mess I keep getting myself into. I know that some of this is my own doing, and some may be from stupid choices or even circumstances beyond my control. I am asking for Your wisdom to make better choices, Your grace to forgive myself for my past mistakes, and Your strength to navigate the challenges I am facing. Please place good, kind people on my path who can help and guide me. Help me to see the way forward and give me the courage to walk it, so that I can find peace and a better way.” Amen!
