Let's move on to the next theme for us to check out...
"Why am I supposed to involve Him...?"
(Romans 15:1-3) "...Each of us should please our neighbours for their good, to build them up. For even Christ did not please himself..." This verse urges us to focus on serving others rather than fulfilling our own desires, highlighting the importance of emulating Christ's selflessness.
Jesus reminds us that Earth is just a temporary place; our true home is in Heaven. We're not meant to live for ourselves. His message in Luke 10:37 to "go and do likewise" urges us to show deep kindness and compassion. Attempting this without the Holy Spirit quickly shows our need for His guidance. To truly follow His command, we must rely on Him fully - as a child depends on a parent. Here are some Scriptures that highlight this truth:
- Galatians 5:16-17: "So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit..." [Keep the eyes of your heart on Him and He will lead you into all truth]!
- John 14:26: "But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you." [Keep the eyes of your heart on Him, and He will lead you into all truth]!
- Romans 8:14: "For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God."
These verses emphasise the Holy Spirit's role in guiding, teaching, and leading believers in their daily lives.

Let us pray, Heavenly Father, help me to turn away from self-centred living and focus on following Your path. Fill my heart with compassion and purpose, and guide me with Your Holy Spirit. Let me live each day reflecting Your love and serving others as Jesus taught us." Amen!
