I was having a conversation over Christmas with someone who insisted that the Bible is just a book that is filled with the thoughts of men. In effect, he would not accept that these mere men were inspired to write what they did by the Power of the Holy Spirit.
The problem with his belief is that it isn't based on the 'Truth' as we who have had an experience of Jesus the Messiah of GOD ... he doesn't (can't) hear the Life-Words of GOD while he remains closed to the redeeming Love of Jesus and the subsequent Power of the Holy Spirit.
I know (from personal experience) that while I was suffering last year from yet another heart attack brought about through chemotherapy, the Lord spoke Psalm 76:23 to me, "My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever." Excitedly,I began proclaiming this truth over my body, and a few days later, a doctor came to see me and while he scratched his head, he told me that scans had shown that although the right side of my heart had suffered terrible damage, 'somehow,' a blood supply was being carried to that damaged part from the left-hand side of my heart - in effect maintaining the balance!
Begin today with GOD’s Word, never mind your ‘busyness,’ let Him draw you into His Presence and ‘minister’ to your needs.
