Since the children are made of flesh and blood, it’s logical that the Savior took on flesh and blood in order to rescue them by his death. By embracing death, taking it into himself, he destroyed the Devil’s hold on death and freed all who cower through life, scared to death of death. (Heb‬ ‭2:14)

I’m sure that we’ve all struggled with differing perceptions of death - physical, relational, or financial. But what about the death of our dreams? Like balloons, they seem to take forever to take shape and yet only milliseconds to fly away… or burst!

So, what’s our response meant to be? I think we’re meant to be like kids playing football when the ball suddenly bursts. Children don’t judge the quality of the ball, or even bemoan the strength of the last kick! We're supposed to crowd around our Heavenly Father and (like children) ask Him to fix it - believing and knowing that He 'somehow' will.

Child of God, leave your ‘dead thing’ and go running back to Jesus and let Him sort it out for you.

“Are your ears awake? Listen. Listen to the Wind Words, the Spirit blowing through the churches. Christ-conquerors are safe from Devil-death.” (Rev 2:11) ❤️
