(John 20:22) “...Receive the Holy Spirit."
Here are more compelling testimonies, real-life examples, and inspiring stories to help us delve deeper together into the Holy Spirit, propelling us from unbelief to faith in Him.
"Some years ago, I was taking a meeting, and during the worship, I got a word of knowledge from the Holy Spirit: ’There’s somebody here with a painful left foot.” So I stood up and spoke out, saying, “There’s somebody here with a painful foot - who is it?” Immediately, I sensed the Holy Spirit correcting me, saying, “I said LEFT Foot. I realised I had held back, not wanting to be too specific for fear of failure. (I repented very quickly!) As I did so, a lady tentatively lifted her hand and showed me her left foot. Long story short: a few moments later, she was literally hopping on a healed left foot, and a meeting room was in uproar with people celebrating and getting healed as well. Sometimes, obedience needs to be daring. Other times, it’s a much more gentle sense of leading.” (D)
“There was a time when I was very newly saved from alcohol and drugs. My husband (also a drug addict) hated the change in me and ended up walking out on me and my 6-year-old daughter! One day, my daughter and I were in a second-hand shop when I felt the Lord direct me to purchase a beautiful crystal wine glass. I said, “But Lord, I don’t drink anymore!” He told me clearly to buy the glass. It was only a few pennies, so I did. Then he told me to go home, get my best tablecloth, some linen napkins and some knives and forks and go to the bench by the Church where I used to go sit and drink and take drugs. So, my daughter and I packed everything together and did as I was told. When we got there, he told me to take some money out of my purse and buy some food from the fish-and-chip shop for my daughter and me. He also told me to go to the shop and buy a bread roll and a small bottle of wine. I said again, “But Lord, I don’t drink anymore!” Anyway, I obeyed and bought a miniature bottle of wine. We laid out the beautiful tablecloth and had a fabulous meal together. Then the Lord said, now take communion and save some bread and wine. So we did. Then the Lord said to go up to the church, break off a piece of the bread roll, and place it at the foot of the cross outside. Then he told me to pour out the rest of the wine at the foot of the cross, too. He then said, “This communion is for your estranged husband. I’m going to give you a promise over his life. The bread and the blood are for him. I am bringing him to his knees at the foot of my cross, and he will take communion for the forgiveness of his sins. The communion you have poured out to me is in his absence.” (Sally Ann)

Let us pray, Holy Spirit, I humbly ask you to break through my stubbornness and open my heart to true belief. Guide me to surrender fully and let you be the Lord of my life. Fill me with your wisdom and grace, and lead me on the path you have set for me." Amen!
