(Joel 2:28) “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions."
This series is about how GOD is believed to communicate with us all. (7). Dreams & Visions: Sometimes GOD communicates with us through imagery or dreams because they go beyond language and culture—engaging our imagination and emotions! These stories provide a personal, vivid link to Divine messages, offering guidance, encouragement, and insight in powerful ways.
Example 1: "A friend of mine in Africa, now with the Lord, was guided by visions and dreams. Before coming to the UK to study, he was assured by the Lord that he should not fear, but that he would find a good friend and family to look after him in his stay. Shortly after his arrival, he became part of our family." (Brad x)
Example 2: "I had a vision of me standing on a rock base with cliffs behind me. The sea became stormy, and the waves crashed over me, but I never moved off the rock floor I was standing on. This vision came to me often during my teacher training and over the years that followed. God gave me a solid foundation. Having come from a non-Christian family and desperately clinging to scraps of truth from the Church and verses from my King James Bible, I learnt to cling to God in an arid spiritual land. When I got to University and met charismatic Christians, I came alive, but never forgot the strength forged in those difficult years of my teens when I gave my life to Christ. He refines us in the fire, and the deserts in our lives test our reliance on Him." (Diane x)
Example 3: "I want to share a dream the Lord gave me many years ago. In the dream, I was walking in a large piazza in Brindisi. It was afternoon, and I was alone when darkness suddenly fell, making me feel intimidated. In the dim light, I saw a huge, menacing black figure with a devilish appearance approaching. It stood in front of me, its sword pointed at my stomach. Initially, I panicked, but then a faint word escaped my lips: "Jesus." Instantly, the figure vanished, and I woke up. The Lord taught me that the power is in His name. It's a lesson I'll never forget." (Carmelina x)

Let us pray, "Heavenly Father, I ask for Your Holy Spirit to be poured out on me just as You promised in Joel 2:28. Break through the boundaries I have erected in my heart, and fill me with the Divine Gifts You want me to bestow on others. Let me experience Your presence and be empowered to serve and connect with You more deeply." Amen!
