"Part of my testimony dates back to about 2009 at Faith Camp, when the Lord spoke to me whilst I was worshipping in the main hall. I had sadly lost my eldest son, Justin, to Heroin addiction 8 years earlier in 2001. Thinking back, I believe one of my fears was that I would never see him again. Anyway, whilst I was worshipping and with my eyes focused on the Lord, He gently spoke to me and said, "DON’T WEEP FOR HIM ANYMORE. HE IS IN THE KINGDOM AND HE IS ETERNALLY YOURS." I cried and cried tears of happiness and couldn’t wait to share what the Lord had said to me with others. I'm still amazed to this day how I'm still here! You see, God saved me from all the chaos I was involved in before 2006 when I found salvation. To put it mildly, I was born in London and got into the wrong crowds and was deeply entangled with villains, sex, drugs, and alcohol! But, as in Sally Ann’s story (see previous blogs), we now realise how great HE is and how much HE loves us enough to reach into the filth of our lives and save us! No matter what you’ve done in this world, remember HE, Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, took it all to the cross for me and for you. Praise GOD
NB - I was working Translation for the Camp on that day and can confirm that I was one of the first people Julian met after his Awesome encounter... we hugged and cried for ages at GOD's Grace.
