So don’t you see that we don’t owe this old do-it-yourself life one red cent. There’s nothing in it for us, nothing at all. The best thing to do is give it a decent burial and get on with your new life. God’s Spirit beckons. There are things to do and places to go!
This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa...?” (Rom‬ ‭8:12)

While we're down here on Earth, following Christ isn’t ever going to be a 24/7 picnic. What I mean is His Spirit isn’t going just to let us sit down and put our feet up when there’s so much suffering and ugliness going on around us - see Haroon's cry out to us for the Brick Kiln enslaved families of Pakistan (posted a couple of days ago)!

As such, He’ll lead us into the places where there are Souls who are lost (just like we were) and need to be set free (just as we did) mentally, physically, or spiritually!

Lord, please open our hearts, eyes, and hands to give to Your causes ...
