Fear takes on many forms. Here's another moving testimony of how our brother Julian Jackson overcame his recent fear...
"Just recently, I took a short break in Spain at my friends Errol & Karen's villa for 9 days. I was on my own, apart from 3 dogs. My dear friend Errol had passed away in August after a major surgery that caused complications, and he lost his fight after 78 days in the ICU. So I had come over to look after the property, which is huge, and the dogs. Almost straight away, I felt uncomfortable being there and had all kinds of crazy thoughts, and my mind became a battlefield. This carried on into the nights, and my sleep patterns were so broken, and my dreams were awful and confusing. I became scared. I wasn’t sure what was happening. Then on the Saturday, a beautiful song came on the Christian radio station, and I’m sure it was Jesus speaking to me personally, telling me not to be concerned because HE is always with us and HE loves us so much. Even when we think he is far off and we are fearful, HE turns up. “You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.” (Isaiah 26:3 NIV) "

Let us pray, "Heavenly Father, thank You for the promise of Your perfect peace, especially when worries and fears try to overwhelm me. Please help me to keep my mind steadfastly focused on You. Teach me to trust You fully, knowing that You are in control of everything and that You are my everlasting rock guarding my heart and mind with Your Peace." Amen!
