(Isaiah 44:8) "Fear not, nor be afraid; have I not told you from of old and declared it? And you are my witnesses! Is there a God besides me? There is no Rock; I know not any.”
Here then is another powerful testimony of how our brother Henry overcame fear.
"I was just thinking about your request for how we deal with fear. In my experience, it comes to us all in many different ways and on many different levels.
In Acts 4, Peter and John, men who had known Jesus personally and had just performed a miracle and spoken boldly before the Jewish rulers, still needed to pray for courage to continue witnessing.
On a personal level, I was a university lecturer for 18 years. This meant that I had to constantly give lectures to young and aspiring students. Every time I walked into the lecture theatre and faced the audience, I felt extremely nervous (and a little afraid). Over the course of those 18 years, it never got any better! However, God was with me for every lecture and guided me through.
As I write this, I am reminded of Paul’s thorn in the flesh, given to keep him humble. (2 Corinthians 2:7)"

Let us pray, "Heavenly Father, I pray for courage to overcome any fear or anxiety I have, especially about speaking out. You promise in Isaiah 41:10 that You are with me, so I will not fear or be dismayed. For You are my GOD who will strengthen me and help me; You will uphold me with Your righteous right hand. Give me the strength and clarity of mind to find my purpose and walk the path You've laid out for me. Please calm my troubled heart and give me peace of mind. Help me trust You with my decisions and future. I know I can't do this on my own, and I need your help to direct my path." Amen!
