(Psalm 8:3) “When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?"
- This series is about how GOD is believed to communicate with us all. (4). Creation.
GOD's communication through creation can manifest in several ways:
- Natural Beauty: The splendour of sunrises and sunsets. Landscapes, like mountains and forests, all reflecting GOD's glory and creativity.
The aspects we'll review all suggest that by engaging with creation, we Christians can perceive GOD's voice and character. They also emphasise the intentional and purposeful nature of creation, underscoring GOD's ongoing relationship with it.
"Tehran is surrounded by beautiful mountains. The Alborz mountain range lies to the north of the city, providing a scenic backdrop and influencing the local climate. A couple of nights before I left Iran, I was on my bedroom balcony looking out at the stunning mountains. Later, I dropped my eyes to the lights of the city itself. No matter what the media would have us believe, the Persian people I met were among the nicest I have ever met.
Anyway, the sounds of evening life in the big city seemed to float up to me on my balcony. It was very late at night, and, as in most big cities, people were still up and buzzing around. I was thinking/ praying when I heard the Lord gently say, "Why are you so sad?"
His question took me completely by surprise. I said, "Lord, I'm saddened because they don't know You."
"Warren..." the Lord began, "... There are Protestants that do not know me. There are Catholics who do not know me. There are Baptists who do not know me. There are ..."
The lists went on for ages, to the point where my heart broke and I lost count...

NB - His words shook me to the core, so I have to say: if you're unsure where you stand in GOD's listing, then ask Him to help you. Open your heart and invite His presence in. He wants you to spend time with Him, listening for His Guidance. If you're unsure of how to proceed, then don't waste time, connect with other believers and grow in faith together.

Let us pray, "Heavenly Father, I come before You, seeking to quiet the noise of the world around me. Help me to pause and listen for Your voice in the beauty of Your creation. Guide my heart to find peace in the rustling leaves, strength in the steady mountains, and joy in the song of the birds. May Your presence fill my soul with stillness, and may I learn to walk in harmony with Your will. Open my eyes to see Your hand in every part of the world You have made." Amen!
