Jesus was quick to comfort them. “Courage, it’s me. Don’t be afraid.” (‭‭Mat ‭14:27‬)

I awoke some time ago to see a text from a lovely friend asking for urgent prayer for his wife, whose body is going through some horrid stuff right now.

This prompted me to think about her (and a whole host of others who are going through their own living nightmares …), and then I read the above particular scripture.

As I thought about it all, I suddenly ‘saw’ a scene appear where it appeared a nightmare was in full flow for someone somewhere. Huge roaring and slithering sounds sounded in the surrounding darkness, and the promise of encroaching horrors was horrid. I heard someone feebly mumble … “Jesus, please save me!” Then, there was a tremendously thunderous crashing climax followed by an awesomely gentle stillness...

I found myself panting with anticipation as the whole scene then parted like a curtain, and I saw Jesus stepping out from the horror, saying, “Courage, it’s me. Don’t be afraid.”

Whatever you’re going through right now. Whatever la la you’re facing. Whatever toxic ugly bugglies stand against you – internal, external, mental, physical or spiritual. Just know that his promise is faithful and eternal. All who call on the Name of the Lord Jesus WILL be saved.

And while you're at it. Ponder how valuable your Soul must be for satan to pursue it tirelessly and the Lord of ALL to lay down His life for it! ❤️

NB - New and urgent prayer requests and updates are coming in thick and fast and getting too long to just be tagged onto the daily encouragement. As such, I've created a separate page for you to view on the below link, which will be updated constantly ...
