(John 14:6) “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

Our sister Dianne responded with this Wisdom to yesterday's question, "Why does GOD allow suffering?"

"Luke 13 1-5 was in my Bible study notes the other day and really made me think. Firstly, what a nasty piece of work Pilate was, and still God sent the dream to his wife so that he washed his hands of Jesus's death. Jesus knew exactly what kind of man he was going to face, but secondly, the 18 killed by the tower at Siloam was obviously some recent event that was at the forefront of everyone's minds. Jesus was there at the time, and I thought, 'Why didn't he prevent it?' Then I thought it might be a result of shoddy building skills, and that choices had been made that shouldn't have been. Jesus didn't concern himself with the why; he was concerned with the state of their souls and that the listeners would perish too. I thought back to all the terrible things happening today and how explanations are sought. Stuff is going to happen as you said because of free choice we need to be like Jesus and save the souls snatch them from the fire."

**QUESTION 2** "Are you sure you're following the right religion?"

I know from personal experience how confrontational this question can feel, but once you have Jesus living within you, you know that you know that you KNOW! Nonetheless, unless you're prepared, it can challenge a person's deeply held beliefs and easily lead to aggressive defensiveness.

For myself, giving my personal testimony of how, when I was at my lowest ebb, 'Jesus came into my life and set me totally free' is the best way to address this question.

What about you...? Please feel free to share whatever wisdom you have received.

Let us pray, "Heavenly Father, please grant me Your Wisdom to walk wisely among those who don’t know You. Help me to see and seize every opportunity You put before me, making the most of my time for Your purposes. I pray that my words would always be full of grace and seasoned with salt. Give me the wisdom to speak with kindness, truth, and clarity, so that I can give a respectful and helpful answer, and help me to live a life that naturally evokes questions so that people may be drawn to You." Amen!
