"It was 1991, I was only 13 years old, and we were living in Brazil. My mother was in the hospital, with a tumour and cancer of the stomach, and the doctors had only given her a few months left to live. I used to visit her after school, which involved taking many bus changes. Anyway, a tall blonde lady came and sat next to me on the bus, and she started asking me for information on bus schedules as she also wanted to get to the hospital. To be honest, I wasn’t really listening as I had my head next to the window and was praying for my mother with my eyes closed. The lady then said, I don’t know if you are a believer in GOD, but this afternoon as I was praying, I felt the Lord tell me, 'Go to this bus stop at this particular time. There I will show you a person, follow her on the bus and go with her to the hospital, where you will pray for her mother.' We finally got to the hospital, and when we were in my mother's room, she began speaking about the Lord to my mother - who wasn't a believer! Then we all prayed together, and finally she asked me to leave as she wanted to spend some time alone with my mother. When I returned to the room, the blonde woman thanked me and immediately left. I then heard my mother singing a Christian song. “Mother," I asked, “Where did you learn that Christian song?” “From the nice lady you came with.” I immediately went out to look down the corridor for the blonde lady with the shiny hair, but she had quite disappeared. My mother was kept in the hospital for two more weeks until the doctors finally concluded that they couldn’t find anything wrong with her! A doctor said, “This is impossible, this kind of cancer can’t just go like this!"

Let us pray, "Heavenly Father, we place our trust in Your loving care as nothing can ever escape Your watchfulness over us. We trust that whenever evil seeks to harm us, You will send Your Angels to watch over us, either to guide us away from harm, or gently into Your Presence." Amen!
