Q... What's the hardest part about being a Christian today?
Quite obviously, one of the hardest parts about being a Christian can be the challenge of living out one's faith in a world that often contradicts or opposes Christian values. This includes facing societal pressures, moral dilemmas, and sometimes even experiencing isolation or misunderstanding from others.
On a personal level, it's about maintaining a consistent relationship with GOD through prayer and scripture, which can be difficult amidst all the never-ceasing distractions today.
I could further blame my Italian blood for struggling with the call to love and forgive others, but most times, I know it's just my flesh that needs putting back down!
Ultimately, I've found that following Jesus requires ongoing effort, resilience, and reliance on GOD's grace to navigate the complexities that come my way.
Q... Has it been worth it?
I respond with words from my hero and mentor, St Polycarp ... "Eighty-six years I have served Him, and He has done me no wrong. How can I blaspheme my King who saved me?"

Let us pray, "Heavenly Father, I humble myself before You, surrendering my will to Yours and submitting myself to Your wisdom and strength to fight against the devil's schemes in my life. Draw me closer to You and empower me through Your Holy Spirit so that I can stand firm against the enemy's attacks. Remind me of Your promise to be with me, and help me to remember that the devil will flee when we confront him in Your name. Amen!
