(Matthew 4:19) [Jesus speaking] ”Follow me..."
A lady went to her pastor and told him that she wouldn’t be coming to Church anymore. “May I ask why?” responded the Pastor. “I see people on their cell phones during the service. Some are chatting and gossiping. Some are even sleeping! They are all just hypocrites!”
The Pastor was silent, and then he said, “Before you go, can I ask you to do something for me, please?” She said,” Alright. What would you like me to do?” He said, “Take a full glass of water and walk around the Church two times, and don’t let any water fall out of the glass.”
She came back and said proudly, “It’s done. Not a drop spilt.” The pastor asked her, “Did you see anybody on their phones? Or talking? Or sleeping?” “No", she said, I didn’t see anything because I was so focused on this glass.”
He said, "When you come to Church, try to be so focused on GOD so that you don’t fall away. That’s why Jesus said, “Follow me.” He did not say, “Follow Christians.
Don’t let your relationship with GOD be determined by how others relate to GOD.

Let us pray, "Heavenly Father, thank you for Your grace, mercy, and unwavering love. I long to have a deeper, more meaningful relationship with You. Please forgive my judgmental attitude and fill me with Your Holy Spirit and guide my thoughts and actions according to Your Word. Help me to prioritise You above the distractions of daily life, setting aside time to spend with You and Your teachings. I trust in You for wisdom and strength, and I commit my life to living in a way that brings You joy." Amen!
