"This is indeed the will of my Father, that all who see the Son and believe in him may have eternal life; and I will raise them up on the last day." (John 6.40)

I got a message first thing this morning from our sister Audrey to let me know that her Blessed mother, Ethel, has passed over to be with Jesus.

Yes, this is a time of grieving for all who know this beautiful family and the loss that they'll be walking through. However, this is also a time of celebration for Ethel and all who have put their hope into God's Saviour, Jesus, because He told us clearly in His word above (John 6.40) that death shall have no dominion over us!

In other words, the power of death is too weak to overcome us; the effect of death is not enough to defeat us because there are Greater and Higher powers at work in the world and in the Heavens above than death on the Earth.

Be encouraged, Child of the Living GOD, that death has no power to dominate you and, therefore, cannot have any dominion.

This is the meaning of eternal life.
